English Phonetic Symbols App Reviews

Found some misspellings in the example words; also some of the sound files seem to be missing for the female voice. Also the male voice file for the long u sound (close back unrounded vowel) is wrong!

Im sure the app is wonderful for people who know Japanese, but you really need to mention this little fact in the App Store description.

I thought I would be able to use the symbols in my writings, but all it does is make the sounds. I suppose if youre learning English by reading a dictionary this might help you, but I was disappointed. So glad I didnt pay for it.

Im an actor/musician and I needed some quick reference for dialects. This app proved pointless. It doesnt even have all the phonetic symbols. Just ante up for a better and more comprehensive app.

The app gives you numerous word examples per sound - super helpful when learning the vowels.

Like the title says.

... why do some of the vowels have an R added to them? Some example words are just wrong. Pony is does not include a short i (I). Several other words are wrong for just this one sound.
